Geographical location: Königsbronn lies at the foot of the Swabian Alb and is surrounded by picturesque forests. The town is about 20 kilometres northwest of Ulm.

Special features: A special feature of this region are the numerous caves, including the well-known Charlottenhöhle cave, as well as the Hürbe-Quelle karst area with its impressive rock formations.

Sights: Visit the 12th century Königsbronn Monastery or explore the nearby Brenzpark with its beautiful rose garden. A trip to the Kaltenburg ruins is also definitely worthwhile!

Cultural highlights and events: In summer, the popular music festival "Rock im Park" takes place every year, where local bands can show off their skills. There are also regular art exhibitions in the town hall and theatre performances in the Klosterhof.

Culinary specialities: Be sure to try the Swabian specialities such as Maultaschen or Spätzle! In Königsbronn you will also find many cosy cafés and restaurants for a relaxing break during your exploration tour.

Outdoor activities: Hike through the idyllic Upper Danube Nature Park or go on a bike tour along the river Brenz. In winter, take a ski tour on the Swabian Alb.

Best seasons: The best time to visit Königsbronn is in spring or summer, when nature is in full bloom and the weather is pleasantly mild. You can also experience beautiful colours here in autumn.

Rain days: If it rains, we recommend a visit to the Charlottenhöhlen Museum or the Brenzpark Café overlooking the rose garden.

Best places: The Klosterhof with its historic buildings and the Kaltenburg ruins offer breathtaking views over the town and its surroundings.

Königsbronn is definitely worth a visit! Discover this charming town at the foot of the Swabian Alb and be enchanted by its beauty.
